Baby Anderson: The Journey

On October 5, 2006, God gave us the biggest blessing we could imagine: our daughter Liliana. So here is a place for our friends and family to keep up with her as she grows.

Fall Holidays and more...

Halloween: she was too little for a costume, so we put her in her Yoda onesie to help answer the door.

From the back.

Charleigh as Darth Vader.

Perdita as a busy bee.
During her first dance with Daddy to "What a Wonderful World/Somewhere Over the Rainbow" Hanging out in her froggie jammies on her froggie quilt.

Here she is all dressed up for Thanksgiving and asking her Daddy when she's going to eat.
After eating (milk for Liliana, pie and turkey for Daddy) they are full and happy.

Just hanging out in one of my current favorite outfits for her.

Proud Mommy

I can't help it...I am a pround new mom. So I am going to bombard people with pictures of my girl. She'll be two months old on Tuesday--that's so crazy!

First Photos

Time does pass so quickly. Liliana is almost seven weeks old and preparing to celebrate her first Thanksgiving. She is growing and changing every day--little things, but things a mother notices. She's a little flirt and smiles and giggles all the time. No, she's not sleeping through the night yet. That's the first question everyone asks. This is also my first week back at work, so she is adjusting to being with Grandma and Grandpa during the day. We weren't sure Larry would handle the baby well (and he was a little grumpy about it), but I came home to find the pair of them cuddled up watching Westerns together.

Here are some photos my father-in-law took during Liliana's first hours and days. I have current photos, but I have to get them put on a disk before I can post them. So we are sort of moving backwards.

Mommy and Daddy the night before induction. I can't believe how huge I was!

Our first moments together as a family.
Liliana in her little crib in the hospital.

Spending some time with Daddy.

Getting ready to go home in her Humphrey's Corner Outfit. In her car seat getting ready to go home. She really hated it that first time, but now she loves it. On her first trip she went with Mommy and Grandma to Alpine and actually slept that night in her carrier because it made her feel more secure. Look how mad her little face is!
